Federal criminal record certificate (Federal Police clearance)

What the report shows

States whether the person has a final criminal conviction recorded in the Federal Police criminal-identification system (SINIC); online only 'Nada Consta' certificates are issued.

Legal limits

Criminal data: order only with the subject's written consent/mandate and a defined purpose (LGPD, Lei 13.709/2018); the TST (2017 repetitive-appeals ruling) holds that demanding criminal certificates from job applicants is unlawful discrimination unless required by law or justified by the nature of the job. Service is addressed to the citizen (a procurador may file in person). Use abroad usually needs a Hague apostille.
