1. The service
Joy is software for legal work: creating and editing documents and booklets, sharing, signatures, calculators and connections to external services, including Claude and ChatGPT.
2. Professional responsibility
Joy is an aid and does not give legal advice. Responsibility for the content of documents, their filing and the checking of fees and deadlines — including court recesses, holidays and current regulations — rests with the user.
3. Permitted use
Joy may not be used for unlawful activity, to upload content you have no right to, or to try to circumvent security mechanisms.
4. Payment
The subscription renews according to the plan; a monthly plan can be cancelled at any time.
5. Third-party services
Use of Claude, ChatGPT, Google, Microsoft, Dropbox and other services is also subject to their own terms.
6. Availability
The service is provided as is. We work for high availability, but interruptions may occur.
7. Privacy
See the Privacy Policy.
8. Changes and contact
We will update these terms from time to time and state the date of the update. Contact: adir@joyworkos.com.
9. Age and professional use
The service is intended for offices and professionals. Registration and use are allowed only for people aged 18 or over; by registering and using Joy you confirm that you are.
10. Terms for official-report orders
This section applies to every order of an official report, certificate or extract in Joy — in the app or on the reports pages of the website (version reports1-2026-10-08, in force from 8 October 2026). You order only after ticking the box in the order form; the order keeps the version and the time you accepted it.
10.1 What we sell
A service: ordering the document from the official source and delivering it to you, plus the official fee. Joy is a private service, not the issuing authority, and the content of the document is the authority's. The price is the official fee (passed to the authority as is, without VAT), Joy's service fee and, for a shekel order, 18% VAT on the service fee — all shown before you pay. When the official source issues the document free of charge, the page says so and links to it — you can also get it yourself.
10.2 Delivery times, and if the authority is late or refuses
The estimated delivery time is on each report's page. We start right after payment and once we have what the report needs (a document, a power of attorney or a consent). The authority's timing is not in our control; if it is late, we tell you. If the authority refuses to issue the document, or the record does not exist, we refund the service fee in full; the official fee is refunded if it was not paid to the authority, or if the authority refunds it.
10.3 Cancellation and refund
Until we have started work on the order you can cancel it in writing (by e-mail) and get all your money back. After we have paid the official fee to the authority and before delivery, we refund the service fee, and the official fee only if the authority refunds it — subject to the consumer rights in sections 10.4 and 10.5. Once the document is delivered there is no cancellation, because the service has been fully performed. If the report has a mistake of ours, or we did not deliver it in the time we promised, we correct it or refund the full amount. Refunds go to the means of payment within 14 days.
10.4 Consumers in Israel — cancelling a distance sale
If you order as a consumer (for personal use), section 14C of the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, lets you cancel a service bought at a distance within 14 days of the transaction or of receiving the disclosure document, whichever is later, provided you cancel at least two days before the service is due; if the law gives you a longer period (for example a senior citizen, a person with a disability or a new immigrant, when the sale included a call) — that period applies. The refund comes within 14 days, less a cancellation fee of up to 5% of the price or ₪100, whichever is lower, and with no fee when you cancel because of a defect, a mismatch or a delay of ours (section 14E). Under section 14C(d) the right to cancel does not apply to a sale of "information" as defined in the Computers Law, 5755-1995. We charge no cancellation fee before work has started.
10.5 Consumers in the European Union — 14-day withdrawal
A consumer in the European Union may withdraw from a service contract within 14 days of its conclusion (Directive 2011/83/EU, article 9). By ticking the box in the order form you expressly ask us to start at once, and you acknowledge that once the service has been fully performed — that is, the document has been delivered — the right of withdrawal is lost (article 16(a)). If you withdraw after we have started and before delivery, you pay the proportionate part of the service already provided (article 14(3)).
10.6 Your documents and details
We use the details and the files you send (a document, a power of attorney, a consent, an ID) only to order and deliver the report. The files you upload are deleted 30 days after the order is closed (delivered, cancelled or refunded). The delivered report stays on your order page so you can download it again — write to us if you want it deleted. Order and payment records are kept as the law requires for accounting. See also the Privacy Policy.
10.7 The seller, receipts and contact
The seller: Neos Tech Ltd, company number 515155182, 12 Bar Kochva St., Bnei Brak, Israel. For every payment you get a numbered payment receipt (not a tax invoice), and a tax invoice-receipt is issued and sent to you. Questions, cancellations and refund requests: adir@joyworkos.com.
